Remove Generic Camera integration

Is there a way to remove the Generic Camera Integration in one sweep. I have dozens of Local Cameras and Website Cameras that I no longer need. I want to delete everything and start over, but I can’t find a fast way of deleting the integration.

Any suggestions ?

Go to Configuration / Devices & Services / Entities tab. (Shortcut: type c then e n t and select the entities page navigation button).

Type camera. in the search entities box. Tick all the cameras you want to delete. Select “Remove Selected” top right of the list.

I’ve done that. It doesn’t work. The generic camera integration holds on to the cameras and they cannot be deleted via the entities tab. I also commented out cameras.yaml in my config and rebooted, deleted all the cameras in the entities tab again, rebooted. Same thing, the Generic Cameras integration is still there with dozens of cameras…

Have you tried clearing the browser cache?
Use grep to look into the yaml files in your configuration folder and subfolders to find where the cameras still exist.

I cleared the browser cache. These cameras do not exist in any yaml files. There must be someway to just remove the integration itself.

So, you deleted the integration and any references to the cameras in yaml files, but you still “see” the integration?

Where do you see this? Screenshot?

You see it in this in IntegrationsScreenshot 2022-04-28 111428

Well if my earlier instructions don’t work you have to:

Click one of those.

Then click the three dots icon lower right of the card and select “Delete”.

Repeat.

Deleting one at a time is what I want to get away from. I have 3 installs of HA running with 38 cameras each listed in Generic Cameras. It’s very time consuming doing it this way…
