So I finally found out why my iOS devices got drained lately, and found this modified iCloud service.

I’ve already replaced the original iCloud service in Home Assistant with the iCloud2, but the Configuration for the new service didn’t pop up. Devices showed up unavailable. Tried to remove ios.conf, didn’t help. Removed known_devices.yaml, thought maybe it helps. Didn’t help.
What should I do guys?

the iCloud connection seems still to be on.
left my working machine in sleep for the weekend, and got it drained to 0% monday in the morning.

Did you ever figure this out? I’ve switched as well, but it still seems to be polling every 1 minute.

No luck. I’m about to purge the whole HA, since it’s still draining my devices.
Or probably I’m going to change the password for my Apple ID, so the original iCloud configuration can’t access it anymore. I just don’t have time for it lately.
