So I think I did something stupid and I’m wondering if someone can help me fix it. I am running home assistant core and configure most stuff in yaml files. I renamed one of my MPD devices and it seems as though it created a new entity for the new name, but the old entity still seems to be floating around somewhere. I don’t see if in the entity list in the UI, but I do see logs that say it took longer than 10 seconds updating the old entity. Is there a way for me to get rid of the old entity? Possibly related sometimes it seems updates aren’t happening for the new entity. Any help on this issues would be appreciated.
