Remove phillips Hue scenes (after removing them from Hue app)

So after connecting Phillips Hue my HA was absolutely flooded with Hue scenes. I have removed a lot of unused scense from the Hue app, and now I want to remove those unused entities from HA.

When I try to remove them, HA tells me the folllowing:

“You can only remove 0 of the selected 34 entities. Entities can only be removed when the integration is no longer providing the entities.”

Hue should no longer be providing these entities as I’ve removed them from the app. How can I delete them from HA now?

Did you reload the Hue integration on the integrations page?

Yes, the number of entities did not change.

If not done yet, other classics are

  • unplug the bridge for a few seconds
  • reload again
  • refresh your browser several times
  • clear the browser cache
  • restart HA
