Remove Sidebar for some users

I used to use custom-headers to customize the view on some of my devices by user, most of the functionality I’ve now replicated from within HA, however the one feature I’m struggling with is the sidebar, I want to completely remove it for some users, is that possible?

With the project stop of custom-header (@mayker thanks for your great work) I’m missing some functions in Home-Assistant. Not sure how I can change my query to a feature request, but I have voted for Yves_IF request. Although I think for my case it is unnecessarily complicating things, all I really need is a list of users with a clickbox next to each for show or hide menus etc.
