Removing the zigbee2mqtt plugins

I’ve been getting this message for a while now and I don’t know what it’s about. Can anyone help me?

Fix issueWarning ⸱ Reported by Home Assistant Supervisor
The Zigbee2MQTT plugin has been removed from the repository it was installed from. This means that it will not receive updates and backups may not be restored correctly as the supervisor may not be able to create or download the necessary resources.

Selecting Submit will uninstall this outdated plugin. Alternatively, you can check out Home Assistant’s help and community forum for alternatives to migrate to.

I have the same problem and my zigbee2mqtt network is unstable

Problem is fixed, Repository has zigbee2mqtt in it.

Perhaps you need to delete Repository and add again:

When you installed the Zigbee2MQTT add-on you used a custom repository that no longer exists. See step 2 here for the official repository link: GitHub - zigbee2mqtt/hassio-zigbee2mqtt: Official Zigbee2MQTT Home Assistant add-on

To change over:

  • Make a full HA backup just in case.
  • Open the Zigbee2MQTT add-on page and go to the Configuration tab. Copy all the settings to a text file.
  • Delete the Zigbee2MQTT add-on.
  • Delete the incorrect repository (from the three dots icon in the add-on store).
  • Add the correct repository.
  • Refresh the page and add the Zigbee2MQTT add-on.
  • Put back the settings you copied to the text file.
  • Read the release notes for v2.02 there a a few changes you need to make. https://github.com/Koenkk/zigbee2mqtt/discussions/24198
  • Start the add-on.

This seems to work. The problem was that when the message appears zigbee2mqtt becomes urresponsive until you delete the old repo and configure the new one.

No need to delete the Zigbee2MQTT add-on.

I did just go through it. HERE I described how to do it easily.

Even if they have the wrong custom repository specified?

I haven’t taken a possible wrong custom repository into account. Are there really any for Z2M witthin the Add-on Store?

That’s what I took this to mean:

I agree. The wording is quite vague

Looks like the repository moved in 2021. https://github.com/zigbee2mqtt/hassio-zigbee2mqtt/issues/54

Before I started using Zigbee I think.

Ah yes, I remember now. The repository moved once before some time ago. Luckily not again this time.
