Rename HomeKit Bridge to "Apple Home"

I’m proposing this because I was walking a friend through the HA/Apple bridge process, and we kept running into the issue that the two integrations: “HomeKit Bridge” and “HomeKit Device” are pretty confusing and easy to conflate.

I want to suggest renaming “HomeKit Bridge” to “Apple Home”, because it more closely reflects the front-facing language that Apple uses when referring to their smart home features. They just call it “Home.” And the point of the bridge is to get your entities to appear in their Home apps.

Additionally, this would match the Google Assistant integration, which does not bother with the world “Bridge.”

HomeKit refers to the standard of devices, which is why I think “HomeKit Device” is correctly named.

I’d find that change more confusing and am quite comfortable with what “HomeKit bridge” v “HomeKit devices” mean.

I’m also concerned about confusion, but in this case with the Homebridge project.

This is a good point! Maybe instead the integration should just be called “Apple Home” and drop the bridge part all together? Then it would be similar to the Google Assistant integration.
