Rename sensor entities in Xiaomi BLE (esp MiFlora)?

Hi all,
not sure whether this a config question or feature request. Likely depending on whether it’s implemented already or not. Like many I was looking forward to the Xiaomi BLE integration becoming an official part of HA. As of before, I was running 2 Rpi3s w/ miflora-mqtt-daemon to cover ~10 MiFlora sensors in my flat/balcony.
While the sensors were nicely autodetected with my esp32 board (albeit w/ abysmal BT range), I was rather happy to be able to look up mac addresses in the RPi configs. And while it is possible to rename the MiFloras on the device level that somehow doesn’t propagate to the entities (I remember recently doing that for Shelly 1s and it asked me whether the entities should be renamed as well).

Any ideas what the right order would be to achieve that so I don’t have to use my cheat sheet so often but rather plant names as intended?

Thanks in advance!

Edit: Okay, so an interim solution is of course to rename the entities in their overview but it’d be nice to have that streamlined during device setup rather than to do it 5x for each sensor.

I am running into the same issue right now. I could rename the device in the integrations page but the entities are still named Plant Sensor 4276 [sensor name].

I’d also prefer to have the entities renamed when changing the main device.

any news on this?
