Hi, i am trying to rename the devices in the official mobile integration but the entities are not renamed along. I am in advanced mode and i do see the modal but all entities but one are always in “XX entity IDs will not change”. The device entity itself is renamed, but none of those with suffixed name like _android_auto.
I tried renaming back to the original prefix and renaming again but it doesn’t work for mobiles.
I noticed that too. There now is a menu in the top right corner menu of the device where you can choose to do so. I guess that it is why it is no longer asked during the rename but pulled outside, so you can always choose to do so at any time.
Yes i am using the recreate IDs top right corner menu option for other devices, but it doesn’t work on devices from the official mobile integration at all for me.
Weird, the old implementation was more critical afaik because it needed the old name to be present in the id. I would have expected the new functionality to work on more situations.

I just came across this issue as well. Has anyone entered it as a bug?
