Continuing the discussion from Philips Hue will force users to upload their data to Hue cloud:
Does Reolink still do this if you disable the “UID” feature? I assume this is how they connect “magically” to the phone app. I’m curious if they’re still so chatty with that disabled.
Reolink indeed seems to ease down a bit when you disable the “UID” feature.
