Just purchased a reolink Lumus to add to my existing collection of ring Cameras, purchased the Lumus because it was a great price and I didn’t want to have to lock in the ongoing (Ring) subscription to get the greatest features, plus the area I’m monitoring doesn’t need it.
Just went to install the ‘fwestenberg’ HACS integration and realised (with horror) Lumus isn’t supported.
Does anyone know if the Lumus can be integrated with HA? Any pointers or shares would also be greatly appreciated.
I’m mostly interested in accessing the feed/stream. I have seen some posts about Neolink but it doesnt seem to run on a Pi.
I have exactly the same issue. Just got the Lumus but unable to integrate with Home assistant using HACs. Wondering if there’ll be support for this one.
Same issue here. Have some workaround but it is not perfect. I am running Neolink service on linux which takes stream from Lumus and converts to normal RTSP stream. In this way I can add it to HA using general camera integration (not official reolink integration). However it gives only stream without any motion entities which I would like to have, since Lumus has physical PIR sensor, so motion notifications would be much more reliable than the ones from other Reolink cameras which detects motion by pixels.
Hi,
A little late but why are so complicate, i read all lot in many forums, i have a Lumus too, and i make it very easy without neolink and so on.
Go to setting devive → add → type ONVIF select it. The port must be 8000 enter your user name and passwort and wolahhh you have it in HA and can controll it.
And in Synology Surveillve Station its the same, add camera select onvif and wolaaaah all there
Hoky crap, this is it! I logged in just to thank you!
To recap what I did:
In Home Assistant, go to Settings/Device/Add Integration. There search for ONVIF, select it let it scan automatically. Select the camera you want to add and enter your username and password. If you don’t know the username of the camera, you can see it in the Reolink app by selecting the camera you want to add, then Settings/Advanced/User Management and it will show you the current manager username.
