dou you have it now? Can you use the 2 way audio?
Do you need the reolink hub?

Not yet, local distro told me first or second week of October. It’s now the third week and they still have don’t have stock. Even the US site say they are out of stock.

Yes, I think needs the Reolink Home Hub. Read here: Reolink IP NVR/camera - Home Assistant

hello,
I got this doorbell. Unfortunately no integration to HA without the hub. I am waiting for mine to arrive, to integrate this to HA.

Is there anyone who has been able to install it in ha and what are the entities offered?

These are the entities for the hub:

For the video doorbell battery:

I am also facing this issue and cannot watch recordings in the media browser:

Still waiting for it to be in stock. How fast does it notify HA of motion at the doorbell?

Motion or a Person within 1 or 2 seconds. And Visitor, when you push the button, the HA sensor changes shortly before the Reolink App Notification shows up. At least on my Android phone.

Thank you so much for sharing…

With the hub does it fully integrate with Alexa?

Button press works but motion detection is oddly a bust. No matter how i set it up, either via motion announcements or via routines, (as i did on our old Ring doorbell), it never triggers

I just noticed, that since the November update of HA the battery of my doorbell drains within 3 days instead of 3+ weeks before. I suspect the go2rtc/WebRTC update to have something to do with this, but could not verify this yet. Oddly enough, the camera still reports as sleeping.
Did you notice a difference in battery life? How long does yours last?

Same for me here, just got the hub 2 days ago and linked everything to HA. Reolink app says in the battery view that the camera was recording or being used for over 3 hours yesterday. 99% of that is it being accessed from HA I imagine, since I have PIR sensitivity very low

I don’t have the Reolink yet, but it also affected my other doorbell camera. I removed any camera view on my HA dashboard and it seems ok now.

Sadly, this did not seem to fix it for me.

I disabled all camera entities from my doorbell and switched the protocol around without any changes. I didn’t have any camera views on my dashboard. Any help or hints appreciated!

Does anyone know if the limitations of the Reolink Battery Doorbell are removed if you install it hardwired. In particular can you integrate with HA without a hub and do 24/7 video? If hardwiring it doesn’t fix those things I need to return it.

  1. Hub is required for the home assistant integration. HA finds the doorbell but cannot connect to it for some reason. Connecting the hub was easy and it found the doorbell immediately.

  2. Since the issues are batterylife, I assume powering the doorbell with a cable will indeed solve the issue if that is an option for you

Thank you for the reply. I thought I understood that with the hardwired only doorbell cam the hub is not required for HA integration. Is that correct? Or is the hub required for all Reolink doorbell models?
