Hi,
I just tried updating HAOS from 10.3 to 10.4 (HAOS in VirtualBox VM) and apparently something went wrong. It won’t boot, starts throwing lots of errors starting with what’s seen in the first screenshot and then I get pages and pages of what’s seen in the second screenshot until I’m dumped into the emergency console. I can still run HA successfully from slot B but I don’t want to risk breaking that by trying the HAOS update there as well. How can I recover my slot A in order to retry the upgrade there?
Your disk is hosed. Sorry. Time to change disk and restore from backup.
I can see why the error looks like that but I doubt it. It’s a fairly new reputable brand SSD. And I had no errors until the update. It seems more likely to me that something went wrong during the update corrupting the files. So I would definitely want to first try to somehow reinstall HAOS in slot A - which is what I’m trying to figure out how to do - before writing off the disk.

Best of luck.
Any luck with this? I have the main slot (B) corrupted by a bad update, but I have an old version on slot A witch I can use to boot into HA. Ideally I’d like to copy the contents of slot a to b, dunno if it is possible…
Thanks
