I just started up a Home Assistant Blue that I purchased from Ameridroid a couple of years ago, and after login I’m seeing that four “repairs” are needed…
Unhealthy system - docker misconfigured (critical)
Unsupported system - OS Agent issues
Unsupported system - Systemd Journal issues
Unsupported system - Docker version
I had a fifth repair (outdated version) but I was able to update to:
Home Assistant 2023.3.1
Supervisor 2023.01.1
Operating System 5.13
Frontend 20230302.0 - latest
Any hints on how to resolve the above on a fresh “Blue” device would be appreciated. I am new to Home Assistant, and was looking for the turnkey experience from the Blue device…
So if I read this right, you had the HA Blue and it sat unused and not upgraded so it’s completely virgin?
I am not sure how far back a modern software update is to the original install without the incremental updates along the way. Most likely it was a version 0.11X. Back then it was a pretty easy install and update. There may be a way to fix those issues, but maybe a fresh install would be better
I would suggest flashing the modern build on the Odroid system. Unfortunately it’s not like installing Windows or Pi, but not too hard.
Use this to connect directly to the Blue through an OTG USB cable (use a good cable):
Follow this installation process:
You can find the link to download HAOS halfway down the page.
