Repurpose Android Phone for homeassistant

I’ve got an old Android phone (Samsung Galaxy J3). I never use it cause it sucks, but can I put it to any good use for HA?

IPWebcam - I use an old android as a light sensor to trigger lights. It can do motion sensing as well, but I haven’t found that reliable so far.

Camera streaming from it brings my WIFI to a halt so I don’t use that.

Use is it as an on-wall dashboard. I use a couple of cheap $20 Androids w/out data plan for that.

I have an ancient phone running IP Webcam as a CCTV feed into both MotionEye and HA dsahboard; and another as a Fully Kiosk panel.
