pls make sure you upgrade to latest HA and HACS and upgrade to the latest RESOL version.

The firmware version on my DL2Plus is also 2.0.6, but the Version i am talking about is the version of the custom Integration in Homeassistant

Go to HACS and select the 3 dots on the Resol Controller and select something like Reinstall or redownload. From there opens a menu where you can chose between different versions.

so just to update and maybe ask another more general question ā¦
I had another look at it and it occured to me that with me using the json live server (runs as an add-on) with the VBUS Lan adapter, I have to point your integration to the IP of that server which runs on http://127.0.0.1:3333 - and that is working - great, sorry for the confusion.
Which leaves me with my orginal problem where you guys might have some suggestions: when the OS gets rebooted the integration odesnāt get any data / says unavailable, in order to fix it one needs to restart Homeassistant after which is works. I am thinking that there is some timing issue between the add-on and the integration - i.e. the add-on isnāt fully loaded before the integration starts. I had a look if there was a way to either restart the inegration via automation or maybe delay its start but I havenāt found any solution yet.
Any thoughts or suggestions are much appreciated.

Why donāt you use an automation to trigger either reboot frequently or restart of the integration every so often? Or check if the integration/server has reloaded and then trigger a restart?

I have tried to create an automation to restart the integration after x time after Homeassistant OS boot startā¦ so far havent managed to get that working ā¦ not sure where the problem isā¦ i m fairly new to that level.
Is there any way to delay the start of the integration?
Hi, just for your information. I had the same problem as @walkweih, Reinstall version 2024.04.01 and everything works fine. I also have a DL2 Plus.
@juk1919 based on the feature ideas of @mdiessner I have completely rewritten my integration and also came across your problem that was reported long time ago here. I can confirm that this is also fixed; that means if you restart home assistant and my resol-vbus addon is not ready or if you restart resol-vbus addon, my integration now reconnects and gets the connection again. so no need for any automation or whatever. works just out of the box!
@ridgehouse30 @walkweih @Tronax DL2 Plus is now also compatible with my integration in version 1.1.0. Thanks for testing and confirmation @Tronax.
and another important information: there are two different hardware revisions of the KM2 Resol device. Revision 1 and 2. 1 is having firmware with version 1.x and 2 is having firmware with version 2.x. Pleaser never ever try to update a 1 device with 2 or vice versa. This will brick your KM2.
I am thinking of integrating my freshwater station into Home Assistant. It works with an OEM version of the DeltaSol Fresh. Which adapter should I buy - the KM2 or the DL2Plus, or something else? I would prefer if all the data stayed in the house and is not accessible through the internet. Thanks a lot
with both devices; KM2 and DP2Plus the data stays in house, its not necessary to push it to vbus.net.
