Are API password the only option, or are username+password authentication also possible? can’t see anything about that in the documentation

Go to your userprofile in HA, and scroll down to botton. There is it posible to generate long-lived tokens.
Can’t see anything like that
Press the F in the blue circle - that takes you to uour userprofile and where you can make long-lived tokens.
