each time I do a software update to home-assistant core, I find that some of my Insteon devices get turned on.
I’m using home assistant and Insteon integration and communicating via an Insteon PLM (2413U) connected via USB. this configuration is mostly working well. the random turning on of devices at each home-assistant restart is an isolated problem.
anyone know why this happens? or how I can avoid it?
Post any automation you have which is using your insteon devices.
Chances are, it’s not set up to trigger from/to specific states

i’m very late in circling back to update this post, but the issue was that i had automations setup to detect change of keypad buttons. during restart, the insteon integration was re-sync’ing the state of keypad buttons and in some cases, it was detecting changes of button state, including some buttons for which i had automations based on detecting these changes and turning on other devices.
