I made a backup on my actual home assistant and i want to move my home assistant to another device (khadas vim1s). can i on the new device import that tar file ? will it work with neswOS (home assistant supervised as well)

I moved from HAOS on a RPi to HAOS on a x86-64 machine and the backup from the RPi loaded without problems.
A couple of things it might be good to watch out for:
If you give your new machine the same IP address on the network that the old one had, there shouldn’t be any configuration issues.
If you’re using built-in Bluetooth, the integration should discover the new adapter automatically, but it may continue looking for the old one. You need to disable/delete that.
You need to restore the backup as soon as possible after making it, to avoid gaps in statistics.
You should be good to go by restoring an off-device backup at the onboarding screen.
If that fails, create a dummy user and go through the onboarding, the restore normally from settings screen.
