Restore backup from home assistant in docker container to new instance not in docker?

Hello All. I have HA running on an old Raspberry Pi 2 which I’m using to experiment on and get my system setup whilst trying to acquire a new RPi for “production” use. However Docker is proving more of. a headache than a help. I’d like to wipe the RPi and install HA directly on a fresh Raspbian image. Question: Can I backup HA from the homeassistant docker container and then restore the configuration to the fresh install or do I need to re-build/re-create all my integrations/automations etc.

Yes you can backup/restore between different installation types. Note that assuming you’re going to install HAOS, that still uses docker, but it handles the management for you.
