Hi, restoring add-ons from the snapshot fails. I’m running HassOS 2.10 and HA 88.1.
19-03-02 18:47:12 ERROR (MainThread) [hassio.addons.addon] Can’t read tarfile <hassio.utils.tar.SecureTarFile object at 0x7183e190>: not a gzip file
I am thankful for every help !

The snapshot is corrupt. Try another one.

I had to extract what I could from the tar file and copy it over to HA manually. There were some missing or corrupt files, so the rebuild was a bit painful.

Hi, I used another (older) snapshot … thanks for your help !
Alex
I have 4 backups(backed up with google drive backup) and have tried to reload all of them but keep getting this error:
Can't read tarfile <securetar.SecureTarFile object at 0x7f932b2ed940>: not a gzip file
I lost my good HA OS and can’t currently restore it! Anyone else having this problem?
Within google drive backup add-on, when I click on all of my backups it states that everything is there.

Have you tried downloading your backup file from Google to see if you can untar it outside of HA?

With any password (i didn’t remember if i set a password): Can’t read tarfile
Any idea of what can I try?
