I put bullet points trying to keep it clear as I can. but I add more detail below. Pics are from most ressent install and attemp at loading from phone or tablet.
A. I had system running but problems made me re write Victron OS sd card and tryed to start with one card and load victron OS from within new Homeassistant sd card which did get to screen with prompt to start. From phone it just errros pics below…
B. Got new HA on new card and says it is loaded but wont go to web start page. Shows the two web sites http://homeassistant.local:8123 but it will not open those pages. Also tried just using the IP adress of the device? but I am not sure how that works but http://10.0.0.1:8123 that and other variations with lacal and no http at the start,
C. When I try from my phone not desktop it starts the app (pics include).
but give me errors.
C. Do I have to get ride of old Victron instances(I think that is what they are called) to set up a new one. Does the HA app link to the old stuff?
D. Do I have to reload the raspberry Pi software because it is part of the origanal set up. I can load durian? on the RPi put that SD card in and it works I have Pi connects and can see my info. I think all the old file are conflicting with new files and folders repeats.
If I have to start over. . All the password and key code and web sites have to be done again. I was hoping that if I did all the new loading through HA I could avoid some of the mess I have made. Meaning when I loaded up the new HA I used RaspberryPi imager and choose the option to load Homeassistant from there. That worked. but now I can get no further.
I really appriciate all the help and hard work people are doing and dont want to be ungratefull it is just so much integration and the password stuff is so much of my time. I kind of done with passwords and anything that is so complicated that it takes 50% of my time just to manage that one part.
And for some reason one of the problems was that Homeassistant was not updating my home suppervisor and it seemed to never be up and running I would repair it and come back and it was gone again. So it never made a backup even though I did it manually. It might be somewhere. updates where saved no back up is available. Victron OS sd card got corrupted and rewriten. Not working now.
2000 watt Renogy inverter and seperate solar inverter. there is a Victron shunt with wifi and connected hard wired aswell into the Victron shunt with wifi and that is connected to a Raspberry Pi 4b 4gig which was loaded with Victron Os and running in Homeassistant with some sucsses. Both Ethernet and Wifi are on the Raspberry. It has run on both but it does not do well with bluetooth and wifi. Even right at the divice. Another seperate problem.
On the last HA update my system went a bit crazy and stopped reconizing my Battery system within the Victron. But it did show the right info under that field or in the UI. Also home assistant supervisor kept not updateing and the whole system did not update unless I sat there add watched it but it seemed to not want to upload the supervisor part and that seemed to be an issue maybe. Even after manual updates I have no back. So I tried to fix the problem but made it worst and now I have no Victron and tried to reload Homeassistant and then reinstall victron os within the homeassistant app.
The question is if you re install HA. Do you have to delete the Victron instance I think that is the word and then reistall the new set up. Sorry to much vinacular to know what it is called.
I can see that I have reistalled the HA and it is reading ready CLI i think. It shows what is the old http://homeassistant.local:8123 and the other site with the other number which where set up as http://solarpiha.loacl:8123 before. This went to my web UI and showed my system.
I also lost my Victron SD card. I have things set up wonky. I know I should have an SSD card and that would be better but at the moment I was just trying to get everything under the HA system and use the app from within the HA program. Before it was all on different SD cards and I would have to take one out update then get new keys and what ever updates then put in the HA sd card and update that. This was clunky at best but it worked untill the last update.
If you read all that thank you I need to work on brevity sorry. It is a lot.
Thank you
