I’ve changed my Zigbee channel to 20.
I did it via UI:
Devices and Services
Zigbee Home Automation (integration)
Configure
Channel
When I was convinced that I had no interference problem, I decided to revert the channel to 15 (which I think is the default), and also did it via UI.
Now, when I restart HA I get the ERROR message below.
“Zigbee network settings have changed
*Error: Reported by Zigbee Home Automation*Your Zigbee radio’s network settings are inconsistent
*with the most recent network backup. This usually
*happens if another Zigbee integration (e.g.
*Zigbee2MQTT or deCONZ) has overwritten them.
- Channel: 20 → 15
- NWK update ID: 0-> 1
*If you did not intentionally change your network
*settings, restore from the most recent backup: your
*devices will not work otherwise.”
Is it really an error?
Should I be scared of being doing something wrong? If so, what to do?
I didn’t touch this “NWK update ID” (which I have no idea of whatever it may be) and I have no clue where to go to change it (if it is really needed).
I just wanted to rollback the system’s configuration to its default so that I could not blame it for the painful process I’ve been through with Zigbee.
Restoring an old backup does not work. It seems that these Zigbee’s configs aren’t saved in the backups.
Thank you in advance for your support.
BTW 1: I’m a newbie. Fool-proof instructions are welcomed.
BTW 2: I recently bought a HA yellow and I’m starting to build my Zigbee network. It has been a pain making 6 devices (2 of then Repeaters) to work in a stable/reliable manner. I don’t want to move forward if there is something wrong with the foundations of it, i.e.: the Zigbee channel’s definition.
