I have some tempsensors (Oregon), everytime I changes batteries they are seen with new ID´s
before it was simple to take the new ID and just replace the old id in the yaml file and it adopted all old settings and names.
but now it´s complicated but maybe I misses something so what is the best practice to do such change now days?
You don’t miss something. It’s not easy to handle that at the moment. That will be solved in 0.117, when the integration hass UI options. You can use migration to migrate from old to new event code.
