Hi All,
Can anyone assist with the settings to RFXtrx433E in Hass.io over IP not USB. Is it possible to run the RFXtrx433E from a remote IP like RFLink can do?
So, I am running on a Raspberry Pi3 with hass.io with a RFXtrx433E and RFLink (each can see some devices the other does not) both connected via USB
The reason i want to run both my RFXtrx433E and RFLink over IP is that I have a very old, large house with thick walls and need to centrally locate my signal to be able to interact with my various devices dotted around the house but do not have anything close that I can cable it to thus my solution is to put my Pi3 on WiFi with it all connected via USB
Yes it works, but and here it is
I am finding that I am running into the issue that when my bluetooth on the Pi3 is on it runs slow when on WiFi so cannot use bluetooth tracking unless on a wired connection
Catch 22 i guess
The ideal solution would be to leave my Pi3 cabled, but put my RFXtrx433E and RFLink connected to a Pi zerow on WiFi using ser2net or the likes and centrally locate - I have tried this with the RFLink and works
The RFXtrx433E works likes this for other things and RFXMGR but I cannot get Hass.io to connect to it
Any pointers would be greatly apreciated
Cheers
Matthew
