Wow, that’s great. Many thanks for your work
Your are welcome. It’s my pleasure to share. Don’t hesitate if you have any questions.
Brilliant write up thank you very much, simple concise instructions up and running in a few minutes
Happy to see that it helped you
Hey @Phil406,
Thank you for all the work you put into this! It works great. I am running into a problem with one thing though, getting the battery info to show on my motion and contact sensors. I have pulled that code out for now but I really want to get that working. I am quite new to Home Assistant (installed it and started tinkering yesterday) but am quite proficient with directions and navigating my way around a system.
With this being a bit of a new world for me I’m not quite sure what you’re referring to by the Configuration section where you placed the code that begins with the “# Ring Alarm Sensor’s battery levels”. Could you provide a little more direction for me there?
Hi @Phil406 many thanks for sharing this.
When I use your code Part 1 I get the following error:
Custom element doesn’t exist: stack-in-card.
Am I being silly and doing something wrong?
Many thanks,
Lee
Huge help! Thank you!
Now, my question is can I use the Ring Z-Wave bridge as a Z-Wave bridge for HA. Or do I still need to buy a dongle?
Sorry for my very late answer. I’ve been busy with other projects and still busy with them. You need to download the custom add-on called: “stack-in-card”. May be you have already found the answer but this will still help someone else.
