Dear HA boffins,
has anyone managed to make use of the Ring Welcome Home feature in HA? I find it works really well, better than anything else I’ve tried thus far from the Ring app, telling me I am home… not that I find that message of any use by itself, but was hoping to use it so set up some automations e.g. switch on lights if it is dark when I get close to my house etc.
I have tried the ‘when phone connects to wifi’ and a few other options but I’ve yet to find one that’s been stable enough. Other geofencing options I tried would sometimes get it all wrong and the wifi option was always too late.
