Hi, I saw a few people ask about this in the past. In the Alexa app, the Ring integration can distinguish between Person Detected events vs. general Motion events. Any way to do the same in HA? Or perhaps could there be a workaround where I use an Alexa routine to notify HA that a person is detected? Thanks for any tips!
As far as I can make out, “Ring person and package detection” was launched in the US this week last year. Details here. It does seem to be compatible with Alexa routines, so It could be used to launch scripts in HA. If it works.

Hmm… when I try to create a routine, I just can select “Motion detection”, but no differentiation between person and general motion.
Is this maybe related to a german alexa app?

It really seems to be related to the App: There is no such part in “Cameras” like “Camera events” - just “Announcements”.
