I have seen multiple posts about the Roborock S5 in here, however, didn’t see anything about the E5 model (much cheaper). Does anyone know if the E5 model can also be integrated with HA or not?
For people still looking up this question (I was wondering the same).
The Roborock E5 is compatible with the official Xiaomi Miio integration.
Thanks for the confirmation. Which model did you choose for the E5 please?
It’s been a long time ago, and don’t actually have the E5 anymore.
Thanks Bram, appreciate the response. ![]()
Hey rengro46, did you get your E5 working with HA?
If so, how?
I can’t get it to work. Have all recent software on xiaomi ha and vacuum. Tried several models. I feel cheated a bit by xiaomi that this may be controlled through HA.
8 Months since last post here, but i have a solution.
I got me an Roborot E5 robot yesterday and got it into Home Assistant using the custom integration component named “Xiaomi Miot Auto” downloaded from HACS and the “add integration” button at the integrations page.
You got two choices when adding the integration, either add devices using the Mi Home account or use manual mode entering the username/password for the Mi account, local/lan ip-address to the E5 and the token for it. You have to extract the token,i used this executable to do that:
Good luck!
