Roku devices listed in both Roku and Unifi Network integrations

Unexpected result when adding Unifi Network integration.
Why do Roku devices show up in the Unifi Network integration?

I’m my experience, the Unifi integration adds all devices that connect to your network, regardless of whether they are also added by other integrations. You’ll have a few additional sensors for each device like bandwidth and presence through the Unifi integration.

EDIT: Which types of additional sensors depend on the Unifi integration option settings.

The Rokus are the only devices listed with both integrations, out of 30+ devices on the network.
I’m new to HA, and this is the first oddity I’ve run across.

Interesting. I wan’t actually using the Unifi integration for anything, so I deleted the configured “Hub” (UDM Pro) and then added it back to see what would happen.

When I added the UDM Pro back, the Unifi integration immediately added 57 devices. That compares to 68 devices that the UDM Pro says are currenty online.

Out of curiousity, check how your settings compare to mine when you step through the Configure wizard on the Integrations page. Maybe that accounts for the different behavior. Here are mine:

I didn’t look at the options before deleting the Hub, but I do know that both options on the last page were enabled.

In any event, it is possible but uncommon for devices to appear under more than one integration, and there’s no harm in it.

Thanks for the response. I don’t recall seeing that configuration setup. In any case, I had to disable MFA to get the Unifi Network connected, and now that I have turned it back on, the integration is disabled. I really don’t need to have the Ubiquiti stuff in HA, so figure I’ll just delete it and not worry about it.
