Room Thermostat for water underfloor heating

Hey together,
i’m searing for a room thermostat with wifi for controlling shellys for my underfloor water heating system.
But it seems to be that there is no device on this planet for my needs.

My needs:

  • Thermostat with wifi support
  • No Tuya or china cloud crap

I’m willed to pay a little bit more, but there are no “ready to use” devices.
And i also bought two tuya devices with the hope that i can replace the tuya chips with esp chips.
But the devices i bought have chips with different lengths (chip type: 3335-p1v2).

What can i do?

Try to Open Beken the newer Tuya devices.

Wifi is really not that good for battery powered devices and thermostats already require a lot of power to control the valve, so that is why most avoid using wifi for thermostats.

I heared of Open Beken and maybe i will try it or i will switch zu zigbee.
But Wifi thermostats are not battery powered. The most are wired so more power shouldn’t be a problem.
