Room thermostat to controll underfloor heating/cooling

Hello to the comunity!
I’m currently planning a home assistant project and im stuck in how to integrate my heating/cooling system.

My flat is heated and cooled by a underfloor system.
In the winter warm water, in the summer cold water is pumped through the system to heat/cool the rooms.

The system consits out of four heating/cooling ciruits. Each controlled by a room thermostate which is connected by wire to the valve of the circuit.

The thermostates are quite basic at the moment. It has a switch to change mode from heating to cooling and a temperature sensor inside to control the valve.
(i think it is this one)

How can i integrate this system into home assistant?

  • Replace the thermostats by a zwave/zigbee therostate which is then again by wire connected to the valves? in this case i don’t need to touch the valves, only the thermostates
  • Do I have to touch the valves? i hope not…

I would be very happy to get some advice from you
Greetings pawa
