It appears to have worked itself out after I hard rebooted the vacuum. I guess I should have asked myself the IT Crowd question first: “Have you tried turning it off and back on again?”.
@CO_4X4 - Hi, is this still working for you? I’m facing about the same issue, except I have rather complicated floors and it took Roomba quite a while to get to know them and avoid obvious pitfalls. I really don’t wanna lose my maps, but if this is the only way…
It’s so off and on that the only way I can reliably get my vacuum to work on a schedule is to do it in the Roomba app. Rebooting the device will help but I don’t think doing that every day is really “automated”, lol. The reboot won’t wipe out your data, just FYI.
You said “hard-rebooted” and I read that as “factory-reset”. You’re right, thanks for responding!
And yeah, I’m getting the same finicky issues - if I re-configure the integration then it updates the state, but no other things works.
Is any of you guys confident, that it is in fact the robot and not some HA related piece of software?
I am facing a similar issue. Reloading the integration helps for some minutes and then the connections seems lost.
Relatively sure. If I restart the integration I have a 50/50 shot of it working - but if I reboot the Roomba and then reload the integration it works most of the time. If I reboot the Roomba and do not reload the integration, it never reconnects.
