Routing capability for non neutral Switch setup

Hi all.

I’m wondering if I set up my light bulb configuration as below:

Smart switch (non-neutral)
Smart light bulb with routing capability

As a non-neutral switch tends to tune down the current to the smart light bulb so that it will not light up, theoretically, the light bulb is still on.

Will the smart light bulb still be able to route the zig-bee signal back to the coordinator when the Smart switch (non-neutral) is in off state?

No. Smart bulbs are not designed to have power cut. Bulbs that repeat that are killed like this can absolutely trash your repeater mesh and you shouldn’t do it.

Smart bulb OR switch not both. Unless your switch is specifically designed to leave the load current intact and switch the bulb through signaling.
