RPC Shutdown wont work with Windows hello

Hello,
I am using RPC Shutdown, but it won’t work. My PC uses my Microsoft Account with a windows’ hello pin. If I am using the pin as password, it won’t work.

You should be able to make a local user account for the RPC call.
Rightclick your start button and choose computer administration.

The pin is NOT a password - it’s a pin. It’s the something you know part of a multi factor login. Its combines with something you are and or something you have to provide login to hello which unlocks the box.

You must use the PASSWORD for an RPC call. You can get / reset your password in your ms account.

If your account is now passwordless you will have to create an application password for your account to make it work.

Wally if it’s win home - the local admin (and possibly the Owner account) was disabled when the user used a windows hello account t and it will stay that way unless they edit local security policy

Never worked much with windows Home, so I believe you.
