I just moved into a house which has fans that are controlled with remotes that operate at 303mhz. I have done a ton of research but I haven’t been able to find any info about controlling 303mhz with my Raspberry Pi short of a full-on software defined radio. Any help or next steps would be very appreciated!
You can do it, but you’ll need to find a superheterodyne 303 MHz receiver and transmitter. I’m not saying that it’s not possible, but good luck locating one. Here’s a link to a place that used to make them:
If you do find it, look up BRUH Automation’s videos on youtube.com. He’s done a video about controlling inexpensive 433 MHz plugs. You can follow that video to help get you started. The only difference is that your transmitter and receiver would be 303 MHz instead of 433 MHz. And if you really want to get deeper, do a search for Pilight. It’ll allow you to send/receive signals using those receivers at a much more refined level.
