RPI and HDMI Installation Bad Documentation

I find the Starting Installation Instructions confusing. I think more explicit instructions (including Installation from RPI and HDMI).

This is supposed to be an offline system? Why do I need to connect to Ethernet or wifi? This is the most confusing part of installation. I’m at the point of not being interested in this project. The instructions need to be crystal clear (which they are not). Too many links here and there to take a newbie off track. Instructions should be ALL on one page, not scattered throughout the documentation. This documentation is more like a spider web vs a rabbit hole.

HA runs as a headless system. i.e. There is no graphical user interface on the device. It has a webserver that you use to access HA via a web browser. For this you need a local network connection at least. See step 8 here:

Also you may need a local network to connect to other components like your TV.

You need to be connected to the internet so that home assistant can be downloaded from the internet as part of the install process.

Also you need to be connected to at least your LAN in order to use a web browser to see the frontend.
