Rpi5 with HA OS + specific hat with NVME and Coral M2

Hello everyone,

Home assistant OS is now compatible with RPI 5.
Did anyone try to use this HAT model from pineberrry pi?

What is very interesting is that it has a dual PCIE2 port that allows to both have:

  • NVME SSD
  • Coral M2
    If I can have both of the best world, it would be create. Any feedback on this HAT would be greatly apreciated :slight_smile:

Little side note I just saw, as of today, this hat is not capable of booting via NVME

That’s can’t be correct, really?!
Pineboards specifically advertises “booting with NVMe” as an argument to buy that board.
However, as of today, 1/31/24, it’s “Out of Stock” on their website.

I couldn’t find any info regarding being notified when it’s back in stock, nor even IF they’re planning to restock it.

So, maybe someone discovered that, although it’s in intended to boot the Pi, maybe it’s not consistent?
IDK.
At any rate, I have the USB version in the Coral, and a PCIe adapter for my NVMe, so I’m all set!
