Not sure where to post this so starting a topic. I have a Acurite 5-1 weather station that I would like to integrate into Home Assistant. I see I can do it with a docker container running rtl_433 to decode radio transmissions using and esp usb stick. My question is since I am not very familiar with docker and saw the upcoming support for RF in 2026.5 like the recent IR built into Home Assistant… should I wait? Since the Acurite weather station transmits on 433 spectrum would the blaster project be able to pick up on said signals and automatically populate Home Assistant?
I would hate to go through the trouble of toying with a docker container and buying a thrird party usb receiver only to have it all become mute with the upcoming hardware and software development from Nabu Casa and Home Assistant.
Any insight would be appreciated.
