I am wondering how the api works, I have setup a second instance of HA to manage some sensors I previously had setup, usually they are detected if on the same network but no luck. I’m wondering if I have another network issue as I am also not getting an internet connection and HA hangs if I try to ping anything… On 9.2 so maybe a bug?
I have “real” HA and a test one and all my ESP devices login and communicate quite perfectly with both my HA’s. So, it’s definitely network issue, yes.

Thanks, that’s pretty much what I was asking. I have it working now after a fresh install. Not sure if my rpi is on the blink or the 9.2/9.3 updates are not playing well for me
