Running HA Client on RPI4 w/ Android

Hi Curious if I’m going down a dead end. I installed LineageOS (Android) on a RPI-4 with the hopes of using it with a touchscreen monitor to run the HA Android app. I’m finding the entire system but especially the HA app rather slow. The HA app is almost not usable.

Has anyone else tried this setup? Just looking for some thoughts / guidance before spending too much time on it. Any alternative ideas for using an RPI-4 + Touchscreen monitor to create an HA client?

There’s OSs that are specifically designed to make a raspberry pi into a kiosk. I’ve not used it but this one popped up in a Google search…

Then just direct the configuration to your interface. I would assume that it is interactive if a touch screen is used.

Is it also slow when you try to access HA through the webinterface?
