Running total as an entity card

Hi there,
I wonder if you could point me in the right direciton.

I have a sensor that is recording a saving of money every day.

The daily value could be plus or minus, however the running total is only going to increase over time.

What I am after is the running total over the previous months as a value in an entity card.

Although I can get a statistic graphic which seems to display the total savings, how do I just present the value back in an entity card.

I have tried the total combine function and the integral sum, but if they are working they seem to start the tally from point of creation of the helper.

Did you try a dedicated statistics sensor?

Hi, I did try the dedicated sensor setting it to sum, but the values seem incorrect, with a number which should be around £40 reading something £50,000 depending on the sample size.
