Hopefully this is the right place to ask this question. If not please point me in the right direction.
I installed Hassbian on a RPi3b+ . I manipulated my way through a plethora of fragmented install information and finally had a working install, integrated with Smartthings via Mosquitto MQTT. Life was good!. Once I installed a samba share following a Bruh Automation video, I lost the Front End @ “http://hassbian.local:8123/states”. I have lost it before, but have always been able to find my mistake in the configuration.yaml file - not this time. I still have ssh connection, just no gui. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

I am thinking it has to do with folder/file w/r access, but am really not sure I have since ran “sudo apt-get purge samba” and deleted the contents on the “/etc/samba/smb.conf” file. I am also unable to delete the folder “etc/samba” or the file itself “smb.conf” - access denied.
If you cant tell by now, I am a RPI/Linux newbie, just need a little push in the right direction. . .
