Samba Share Not opening files

Hi all,

I am having an issue with samba share I have installed it added user name and password it seems to be starting ok but when I try to connect through windows network I get an error message saying I do not have permission to open the file.

Th odd thing is I have used samba previously as in yesterday with no issues. Due to some other problems I have just Carried out a reinstall of ha and all its add ons.

I have done nothing different with this install that I did last time.

Any Ideas I am stuck. Thanks

You likely got the 0.92.0 version that was just released. That would be considered a major change.

Looking at the system info I am running 0.92.0 is there any documentation on this update that may explain the issue?

I can not get access no matter what I try.

Same issue on VIrtual Machine installed on synology

I got it working by reinstalling samba it then stopped working after a while and reboot of the laptop I was using solved the issue.
