Samba share Ubuntu Docker

Hi!

I am migrating from Raspberry to Ubuntu local server. Ubuntu, Docker, Hassio.
Followed Juan instructions and worked like a charm so far. https://youtu.be/ekVfLXnoM7k

Got to the point where I have to save my snapshot to the right folder of my new install, but I can not access the folder. I miss something here…
I will change the user and pass later…

interpret_interface: Can't find address for eth0

In the Raspberry I was able to access like this, but for Linux I get an error. It does not appear by itself…

remove the eth0 . interface dont need it

Thank You! connection established!

It worked!

Hey,

Can you please help?
This solution not working for me.

anyone can assist?

Just got the same problem.
Installed hassio in docker, but cannot get a shared folder in WIN10 using samba addon.
The addon started, and there’s no errors in log.

But if I try to map a drive with \192.168.40.56 it doesn’t work.
I also tried to use samba directly in ubunto ( i can do it for ubuntu folders) but I cannot find any folder /usr/share/hassio to be shared. That’s the reason why I tried the addon.
Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?
Thanks

maybe what I’m doing wrong is using two samba’s?
because if run a command with my server ip, windows will open the folders i shared in ubuntu, but nothing from home assistant in docker.

PS: YES That was the case. Had to stop samba on ubuntu in order to use the addon.
