Samba Update broke Add-On

It would seem the latest Samba update did not get its full AddOn screen updated. The new “Server Signing” option has to be an radio select, but it’s giving just a singular radio button:

When trying to fix it manually, I’m getting an error it has to be “one of” options:

I tried with and without quotes (should be without). But, no luck…

Edit:

Restore from Backup

For those unaware: you can go into your backup to restore any specific add-on without having to do a full restore. The Samba add-on hasn’t updated in a few; so, any backup would work. Restore back to 12.5.2.

Same here!

Thanks for the warning, I won’t update for the moment.

Yeah, same thing here. Restoring a backup.

Same here too

Oops. Saw this right after I started the update. Got a “failed” message on the update, but it apparently did update, because the Add-on is showing 12.5.3 and giving errors starting.

Restore went smoothly. Will wait for the fix. Thanks all!

Broken as well for me (HASSIO)

Well, This is nice with all the me-too’s, but I hope one of you with the problem has done an issue in the repo? (Or made sure there is an issue)

Aware, and the author has commented as well: SAMBA 12.5.3 Can't load /etc/samba/smb.conf · Issue #4202 · home-assistant/addons · GitHub

It’ll get reverted once somebody with permissions can do it.

I went in settings and checked a radio button. At least it loaded now, I can’t check if it works atm.

I think this update is aiming for the largest number of ‘me-toos’ in the shortest possible time award.

Both here and in the Repo.

Bang - and out went the lights…

Me Too [backup the add-on before update, and restore works nicely too]

Fix has been merged, update coming soon I’m sure.

Edit: Update has landed 12.5.4

Edit edit: Had to change the setting from default to auto to get it to start, but I can access files again. Oddly it seemed to reset itself to default but is still running correctly.

I just noticed as well, updated, and we’re working as well as a proper radio list format for the new option!
