Samsung motion sensor

Hi,

I am looking to buy some good and responsive motion sensor which will work smoothly with ha.
I am trying to make an automation that will switch on lights in a bathroom when motion is detected and turn off when there is no motion detected for around 10 seconds(I tried with xiaomi motion sensor but it is not so sensitive when detecting movement).

I made some research and I have two types for now: Philips motion sensor and Samsung motion sensor. I read that philips has very good response times etc. Could someone confirm this ?

What is more I did not found any info how samsung motion sensor is working with ha and if it is maybe better than philips.

Thank you very much for any help.

both of these will require additional equipment (i.e. a gateway in the form of a hue hub or smartthings hub or better yet, a conbee or similair)

I would recomend getting a z-wave stick and then having a look at the necoolcam z-wave pir sensors… they are cheap as chips and very reliable… https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32829015255.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.32992b89pLNFFv&algo_pvid=eee6a6c2-37e9-4e16-a288-18212a818b67&algo_expid=eee6a6c2-37e9-4e16-a288-18212a818b67-0&btsid=d07eb2b9-ac8c-400d-88f7-1050b0db44a9&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_6,searchweb201603_55

Could give me some more details about this necoolcam z-wave pir sensor ? I mean what about sensivity ? Can it be adjusted ? Are there any delays in detecting the motion ? What is the time for it to detect motion for the second time(blind time) ?

no idea mate… i just know that they respond instatenously (as opposed to cloud based solutions) are super cheap and don’t rely on a 3rd party corporation software to operate…
