Samsung NVMe M.2 SSD firmware update - running HA OS?

Hi. I have a RPi running HA OS on a Samsung NVMe M.2 SSD (plugged in via a adaptor to USB).

Samsung has some critical firmware updates for the drive. Any idea how to safely install them?

Yes.
However not on a Rpi.

It’s an windows app. firmware updater.

Yes, I have updated my Windows drives :slight_smile:

But how can I update a drive with HA OS? Can I put it in a PCIe adaptor and plug into a windows box without destroying the HA installation?

Reading the manual I see that Samsung recommends to back the drive-up before the flashing, I would say no your data is not safe.
