Samsung Smart TV turn On at random times

Helo, everyone, I have a Samsung UE65MU6170 and I integrated into my HA, the problem started at 4am… I was sleeping and suddenly the TV woke me up, that was awful. after I arrived home today, the tv was ON again is this normal? or someone knows why happens?
In the “about” i have this several times (a lot of times but different timestamp)

usually 192.168.1.1 is reserved for a router/dhcp server are you sure you’ve got the right IP setup?

Yes, I changed, by mistake but the IP and mac are correct. I can turn on/off the tv using HA, however for some weird issue sometimes the Tv just turn on (happened at 4am :disappointed_relieved:)

Wake ON LAN?
HDMI CEC?

Also, Look in TV settings. You may have set Turn on timer. It’s usually in clock or power saving menu of TV

Yes, Wake on land and they are HDMI CEC, but Im not connecting using HDMI, by wifi

I was actually meaning that this turn on may be caused by wake on lan or some connected HDMI source.

I’ve seen where some device like DVD power on to check for update at 4AM and cause TV turn on due to CEC connection.

Wake on lan may turn on TV if device ping it’s IP for status

May not be caused by HA basically

I don’t have any other device connected, and was 4am and other time was 8pm , i disabled for now, but not sure how to fix this😔

I had the same issue, mine got away by turning off the autoupdate function - its called something like update tv even if its offline or something like that after that i never had any issues.

have you ever been able to resolve this? I also got a Logitech Media Server on the network - it almost seems to me the tv switches on when the LMS discovers the clients - I even have suppressed discovery for samsung_tv but that didnt solve the issue - so I had a look at the entities and I could find a squeezebox device as my tv - I have shutdown the server for now to see if that makes a difference but surely interested if you ever found a cause or solution for this … btw mine is an unsupported JU7000 …
