Samsung SmartThings not available in Hassbian

Hi, I am trying to follow the instructions here:

to integrate my SmartThings Samsung devices but SmartThings is not in the list of integrations.
Has anyone came accross this issue? I am running hassbian.
Thanks for any help.

What version are you running of home assistant.

Hassbian 0.86.1

That link says that it was introduced in 0.87

Did not see that. Thanks!

I updated home assistant to 0.87 and now I see the SmartThings integration. When I tried to configure it I enter the token and get the following error:

Please ensure you have installed and authorized the Home Assistant SmartApp and try again.

What does it refers to when it says “Home Assistant SmartApp”? What am I missing?
Thanks again.

Hi everyone, I am with the same issue. Went to install SmartThings Classic mobile App and followed the below instructions. But nothing is showing under ‘My Apps’. Even creating a SmartApp in the web interface of SmartThings allowed me to connect. Any thoughts on this?

The instructions from Home Assistant website below:
When prompted, install the SmartApp:

  1. Open the SmartThings Classic mobile app. Navigate to ‘Automation’ and select the ‘SmartApps’ tab.
  2. Click ‘Add a SmartApp’, scroll to the bottom, and select ‘My Apps’, then choose ‘Home Assistant’.
  3. Optionally change the display name and press ‘Done’
  4. Authorize the app by pressing ‘Allow’
